 INTRODUCTION ON DOG BUSINESS

    

A Dog is a domestic mammals of the family "Canidae  and the other canivora" and Dogs are one of the most popular domestic animals.

    . Breeds of dogs and there categories 

1. GERMAN SHEPHERD: this breed of dogs are basically used for security, it has about 75% ability to guard due to there size compared to some other breeds of dogs, and it is also one of the highly purchased breed of dogs in Nigeria, it is one of the cheapest dog breed to start up with , they also have the ability to adapt to harsh weather.

2. BOERBOEL: this breed of dog are also used  for security purpose due to it's body size and it's ability to guard , it has about 90% ability to guard as the body size is also helpful as it is big in size, there first mating should be done 17 month after birth and there litter is about 7 to 10

3. ROTTWEILER:it is also majorly used for security in Nigeria and some other countries as it is about 75% in size, it has about 75% ability to guard, there price are also affordable there first mating comes on when they are about 17month.

4. LHASA APSO:This breed of dog is basically used as pet dog, it is also highly purchased  due to it's fancy look and small size it made it so easy for people to take around including while traveling .

5.  AMERICAN ESKIMO:It can be used as pet , but it is bigger in size compared to "Lhasa" as they grow from puppy to adult  , they give birth to about 5 puppies at one's depending on how they are been fed . There first heat comes between 7 to 14 month if by 14th month the dog didn't come on heat it should be taken to a veryinarian for check up, they are easy to groom compared to other breeds. 

6.PITBULL: It is a security dog as it is one of the most aggressive dog breeds , the body size also helps as it is about 20kg at 6month depending on there fedding rations,they can give birth to 5 at once and they are not hard to groom compared to some other breeds

 VACCINATION OF DOG 

Vaccination is very important in dog has it is been said that prevention Is better than cure, vaccine helps in prevention of virus and diseases,Vaccines needed to give a dog;

 1. DHLPP : This is a vaccine against  parvo virus which is air burn disease and it does not need physical contact from an infected dog before it can be infected , if a dog is walked through an environment where there is outbreak of parvo virus the dog can easily be infected that's why vaccinating dogs is very important. 

2. ANTI RABBIE: Rabbies is a viral disease and also a zoonotic disease which can be transmitted to human through blood I.e If bitten by a Rabbies infected dog Rabbies can be transmitted in  other to prevent "Rabbies" anti Rabbies vaccine should be used using the  propal route of administration.

DEWORMING: Deworming should also be done to reduce both endo and ecto parasite in dog thereby improving the health of your dog . Worms can be transmitted from mother to puppy before and after birth through milk or blood so deworming should be done between 2,4,6,8,12,weeks after birth.
